Cruise highlights

Barcelona

Cruises from Barcelona make for some of the most unforgettable vacations you can imagine. Barcelona looks like a city that should be known for its architecture… and, naturally, it is. From monuments in Romanesque and Renaissance styles to Gothic spires and contemporary curves, there’s little surprise Barcelona was the creative playground of acclaimed architect Antoni Gaudí. But that’s just one reason why cruises out of Barcelona are so seductive. Barcelona’s a feast for the eyes and the palate, alike, and be sure not to miss the chance to try tapas as and visit spots like the La Rambla, Port Vell and especially Gaudí’s Sagrada Familia Cathedral. Fun beach bars overlooking the Mediterranean, sleek Spanish designer stores, and Gaudí’s surreal buildings make Barcelona, Spain a whimsical and unique place to visit. For a Mediterranean cruise, Spain is a great place to start — sample the good stuff on one of Carnival’s cruises from Barcelona.

Malaga

First founded by the Phoenicians, the city of Málaga had hosted a number of civilizations over its 3,000 years. The end result is a city that’s a cornucopia of Roman and Moorish influences, among others. Travel to Málaga and enjoy the city’s many museums, especially Museo Picasso Málaga… after all, this is the city where the artist himself was born. Take a side-trip to nearby Granada, where visitors can explore the Alhambra, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that’s at once an imposing fortress, impressive palace and a small town.

Alicante

Alicante is just that kind of place, with options for getting you in touch with some white sand, chilling in the shade of palm trees or exploring old-world charm. The city’s own “old town” section is as good for strolling as it is shopping, while some of the best views are conveniently available at Castillo de Santa Barbara fortress, which visitors access through an underground tunnel.

Celebration Key

It's time to check out Celebration Key —  a new destination from Carnival, nestled on the south side of Grand Bahama island, that's designed exclusively for Carnival guests. It’s perfect for adults, families with kids… everybody who appreciates fun and natural beauty. Get ready for unforgettable experiences like a mile-long white sand beach, the largest freshwater lagoons in the Caribbean and five “portals” for you to enjoy.

Your Ship: Carnival Glory

If you're looking for a holiday at sea that's as colorful as the décor of the cruise ship taking you there, an entire palette of fun activities and hot spots awaits aboard Carnival Glory. For starters, there's a rainbow of salsa options for dressing up your tacos and burritos at BlueIguana Cantina, while Guy's Burger Joint serves up burgers designed by the colorful personality himself: celebrity chef Guy Fieri.

Speaking of colorful personalities, you'll enjoy a variety of stand-up comedians at The Punchliner Comedy Club. Picture yourself grabbing a drink at the open-air RedFrog Rum Bar or BlueIguana Tequila Bar... whichever color or spirit's more your style. Represent your favorite team's colors and enjoy a round or two at the SkyBox™ Sports Bar. Enjoy a show on the stage at Playlist Productions™, complete with singing and dancing, plus video screens that bring these productions an extra splash of color. Speaking of splash, at Carnival WaterWorks the fun flows down the winding curves of the classic Twister and all-new AquaTunnel waterslide — plus twin racing slides and a giant tipping bucket — for countless gallons of fun. And if a picture paints a thousand words, imagine the millions flying off the big screen during a film under the stars at Dive-In Movies. Yes, it's Hollywood meets islands for a date night done right.

We're not just viewing this ship with rose-colored lenses, either — it's clear that the fun, eye-catching experiences all around you are the real deal... even the fantasy world of Seuss At Sea, where your favorite books (and characters!) come to life before your eyes. And from the people-watching potential of the Lido Deck, to the see-and-be-seen White Heat Dance Club, Carnival Glory pulls out the stops. It even shows its true colors as it satisfies your stomach with sit-down dining options like the Emerald Room Steakhouse and the aptly-named Golden and Platinum Restaurants. And wait 'till you see the Camel Club Casino — proof that Carnival Glory is a real looker and a truly special cruise ship.

Look to Carnival Glory for one vibrant time at sea.
